Today we started off in the general area where we saw all the fish. Immediately we started to see schools of bonefish and Mark got one right away. My side of the flats however I only saw one.
As we moved down the flats I would see a few here and there but not the number I saw earlier. It was early so I was not worried. Rounding the point I saw a couple tailing bonefish but for some reason they refused the fly.
As I moved further into the flat I would see one or two fish and they were spooky today. I finally ran into a pod of fish around 11 am and when I did it was like a flood gate opened. I was surrounded by 80 bone fish.
It was not a hard task to catch one at this point and the bite came easy. The clouds soon rolled in and made seeing fish quite difficult. I did manage to catch another fish casting to muds (when bonefish feed) before calling it another nice day.
