This morning’s fishing, filmed on the IPhone 4, How to work the mirrodine
Since I had the boat hooked on the back of the truck already this morning I figured I would go hit the water for a couple hours. Working the top water was not very successful. With bait getting crashed but yet no strike I was perplexed. I started to use the Mirrodine, a subsurface lure. This was a wise choice. It did not take long until I got into some red fish and snook before heading back in around 10am. A good couple hours of fishing that yielded 6 redfish and 2 snook.
Using the Iphone 4 I recorded myself. Those of you that are not familiar with using lures, you can get an idea of how to the use the mirror dine. The basic retrieve is jerk jerk pause, repeat. Remember to vary it up a bit. You want to imitate a dieing bait, fluttering.
