To be honest, these guys were at ICAST 2011 and I walked by them like 10 times never really stopping. On the surface, I just thought there were just another soft plastic company.
This year right before Icast, I got a message via facebook asking me to stop by to check them out “Logic Lures“. Being the polite guy that I am I said sure. This person took the time out to send me a personal message not a mass email spam, the least I could do was check them out.
I was glad I did. The plastic was not what got me interested it was the Wiggly Jiggly Jighead. It’s a jointed jig head that allows the bait to swims more freely and more importantly once the fish is hooked the freedom of movement keeps the fish hooked longer as the fish can not use the weight of the jig head to free itself.
The hook I also noticed was very strong. Nothing I hate more than hooking a nice fish and losing the fish because of a weak hook. As you can see in the video I was trying to bend it with my hands but couldn’t. I’m not saying the hooks are unbend able but at is definitely not on the weak side.
Another item they had was the google eyez. This product pins the plastic onto the jighead and allows it to stay much longer on the jig head plus it doubles as an eye balls on the lure itself.
They hooked me up with a few samples to try out. Perhaps I can talk them to doing a Saltyshores give away promo.
Big thanks to Cheryl (Redfish Ranger) for shooting and editng the video: http://www.youtube.com/user/RedfishRanger/videos
