Tampa Tribune Outdoors Expo & Boat Show
From Friday, March 02, 2012
To Sunday, March 04, 2012
Tribune Outdoors Expo & Boat Show, hosted by Frank Sargeant, celebrates its 21st year March 2-4 at the Florida State Fairgrounds
The Expo boasts 140,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space, plus outdoor display areas and several lakes. This year’s event will include dozens of boat dealers and, for the first time, a huge selection of personal watercraft in addition to ATVs, motorcycles and scooters. Also for the first time, the show will feature a stage devoted exclusively to boating concerns — from building a boat to financing a boat to servicing a boat. Experts will be available to answer questions. Tampa Tribune outdoors correspondent Sargeant once again is the Expo’s official host. A past president of the Florida Outdoors Association and the author of more than a dozen books, Sargeant is one of Florida’s most popular and respected outdoors gurus.“The Expo has something for everyone,” Sargeant said in a statement. “From the smallest angler to teens, to mom and dad, we’ll have an amazing selection of seminars, outdoors activities and merchandise.
Whether you’re a real angling expert, a salty old skipper or a seasoned woodsman, there’s always something new to learn at the show, and lots of old, familiar faces to see.”
