Ghost Crabs

Ghost crabs are pretty amazing critters. One morning I went to go check the surf and noticed this crab about 4″ across digging a hole. I got about 5 feet from it and laid down in the sand just watching this thing carrying a good pile of sand on one claw and tossing it in a pile on the beach. I laid there for a while just watching this crab do the same thing over and over….it kinda put me in zone and I forgot about reality for moment. I took video of it going on and will post up later but here are some pics for now.
