Last week I was fortunate enough to get invited to hang out over in the Bahamas to do some bone fishing with some friends. This was very cool since I have never been to the Bahamas in all my years of being here in Florida. I was pretty excited to say the least.
The the weather wasn’t the greatest but we still had an excellent time. I pretty much stuck to fishing and eating the local fare instead of doing the tourist stuff. This is a just a little journal entry and some photos from the trip. When I get a chance I will sit down and do a nice write up of the my experience on my first visit. I have lots more photos to share as well.
I will write in a fashion of more a primer/how to/cliff notes type. I want to tell you all the things you need to know about your travels over if you are looking to do a trip over there any time soon. The type of things I would like to know but could never easily find even on the internet. I will give you my first hand experience as a fisherman of what to bring and what not to bring. How much things cost, what to expect as far as weather, clothes, terrain, shoes plus course all the foods, fishing and the people.
I will start working on it tomorrow and should have it done by the end of the day.
Since it was over cast pretty much 90% of the time we were there it wasn’t the most optimal conditions to take photos. Regardless here are some images I manage to grab.
