Time lapse using a Nikon D300s DSLR

June 17th 2010

Night Blooming Cereus was the flower my friend Hank had at the back of his house. It only blooms at night. This was about 500 shots shooting over 3 hours or so a frame every 30 seconds on a tripod, manual settings. I took the first half out as nothing was happening.

This was my first attempt so it isn’t the greatest outcome. The light was changing constantly which made it tough. I might try to do a starry night 10 hour time lapse.
